Vintage Summer - Behind the Lense

The funny thing about photography is it sometimes doesn't matter what camera you're shooting on.

This was my most liked picture in April and what's funny about it is I wasn't even planning on taking it. Beautiful moments happen in an instant and you have to be ready to capture them. In other circumstances, we become numb to our surroundings and don't "stop and smell the roses."

One of the most common questions I get asked is "What camera do you use to shoot your pictures?" And, I do have two cameras I shoot with normally, a Nikon P900 and a Canon 90D. However, I don't always have my cameras with me, and when a moment presents itself the best camera a photographer has is the one they have on them. For me, that means my iPhone 11 Pro.

So, if you're wanting to become a photographer don't get too hung up on the equipment. What makes a great photographer isn't their equipment, it's their talent.
