Southgate Reflection — Behind the Lens

As long time followers know, I am currently having a love affair with the newly neon Southgate sign. However, this is my favorite picture I've ever taken of this sign and it was your favorite picture this month with over 80+ likes!

This picture was taken right after the sun dipped below the horizon line at the beginning of January when the Southgate lights flipped from their festive red and green to white and blue to ring in the New Year.

Originally, I was going to take my "regular" beautiful picture of the neon sign but I noticed that my black car offered the perfect reflection of the sign. So, you know I'm going to be using that as often as I can. I absolutely love reflections and I'll definitely be implementing more of them in future posts.

Just remember it's not always about having the best gear (although that helps) but having a creative eye is priceless!
