Lakeland Promenade Mural — Behind the Lens

Say "Hello" to the most liked picture in February, with over 75 likes. I have to say you guys really showed this picture some love.

Back in May 2019, LALToday posted that a new mural of The Frances Langford Promenade was in the works. And, up until last month, I had completely forgotten that it even existed until I was taking pictures of LKLD's famous neon Sputnik. Although at the time it was dark I knew I had to come back the next day and snap a picture of this beautiful mural I had completely forgotten about.

The mural was done by The Atlanta Illustrator in collaboration with Lakeland CED, Boring Business Systems, and students from Rochelle School of the Arts. The postcard design piece features Sun N Fun planes, oranges, butterflies, swans, and The Frances Langford Promenade at Lake Mirror.
